WE met in Dallas last March.............
Just a note to let you know how very, very much I enjoy your playing. This last one is exceptionally beautiful, and oh, so tasteful.
Just enough reverb to enhance..........not destroy.
All aspects of your playing is sweet, complete and listener friendly.
THANKS for your regular posts. Surely enjoy each and everyone of them.
Were you gwo guys in the same room OR, were you on opposite sides of the big pond?

Hi
Many thanks.
Bill, I am looking forward to seeing you too, and Tommy White and other players I have never seen before, at the show too.
I am going to the Station Inn on Monday following the show, are you coming?
I have hired a car, we can go anywhere in the second week following the show!
I have our new Amarillo CD for you. It took many weeks making it, and is out best yet (I think).
I just LOVE the Match-bro.
I will post some clips soon using it. Its the closest thing to a REAL dobro when you get the settings right and the right style of picking (and strings to use).

David I was really moved by it. I have that song on vinyl, it's an old RCA recording done by Waylon. The song was written by Neil Diamond originally. Old Waylon is smiling down on you and John. I was totally blown away. That's how I play, with alot of feeling and emotion. Good songs like that are hard to come by these days. Twin steels totally awesome.
Keep up with the tude,dudes,

I do stand corrected, thank you Pete. It's still a lovely song, regardless. That's what I mean as stated before in other threads about the steel guitar being a beautiful instrument. No distortion. Just clean and beautiful.Pete Finney wrote:The song was actually written by Allen Reynolds, not Neil Diamond... Besides Waylon's original version it's been recorded by Crystal Gayle, Allison Krauss and Patty Loveless, among others...
