Post by Bob Adams »

I started the build of a ZB back in 77 and completed it this weeek :D just 35 years on!!!!

I've stuck this on the tube to let the guys hear that it does actually work! as for my playing it has another few years of practice to go! but hey we try!

As you can see it is just uploaded it (no views!)

Bob that is one nice sounding home-made! Like I told you on Youtube, you built the authentic sound into the ZB. That sound rings true "pedal steel" in my ears. Something so crystal clear. Zane Beck must have been a mechanical, audio and musical genius.
To my ears, the ZB is the one that stands out among the crowd.
Great work there, Bob, both in the build and also the playing.

Pretty guitar. I didn't know Conway ever did that song. Ricky Van Shelton is the only one I've ever heard sing it. Thanks.

Thanks guys, really appreciated!!!

Bill the gen. on the track....

Somebody Lied was written by Joe Chambers and Larry Jenkins. First recorded by Conway Twitty on his 1985 album Don't Call Him a Cowboy, (second track on the album,) it was later recorded by Ricky Van Shelton ….Shelton's version was the third single released from his debut album.

It's a good album btw!
