Facebook question

Post by Jim Cohen »

Wonder if any of y'all can answer this for me...

I have a facebook account and, early on, when I received a friendship offer, I failed to notice that the box was pre-checked to have everything that that friend posts as news on their own facebook page show up as a "feed" on my page. So now my facebook page is full of inane stuff from other people. Some of it I don't mind, but there's one person (not a Forumite) who's "feed" I would like to delete and I'd like to stop receiving their feed in the future.

Does anyone know how I would go about doing this?

Thanks,
JC

Jimbeaux,

Open your list of friends. On the far right is an "X". Click on that to remove the connection.

Who the heck is "JC"?

Thanks, SH.

I just figured it out: if you mouse-over one of their posts, the word "Hide" pops up on the right side. When you click it, it says that you will not see their feeds anymore and will not receive them in the future. Case closed!

Hey Jim, I recently went on Facebook and suffered the same lame feeds. I just dumped some folks that continued to send out drivel. Hey, they don't like bother somebody else who needs to get a life. Kinda like this message.
