"Don't Fear the Reaper"

I thought that was the most famous, with the Christopher Walken skit on SNL.

Also, "You Can't Do That" by the Beatles. This should be a fun thread.

Not literally the first thing you hear but:

Down On The Corner-----CCR

not sure---my brain's ear says so but it's been a long long time;

Ain't Too Proud To Beg---The Tempt's. Please correct me if I'm misremembering.

Grandpa and Ramona Jones did an act with bells tied to their arms and legs. It was corny, but entertaining and different.

How's about "Drive My Car", by the Beatles? Also, "Grazin' In The Green Grass", by Hugh Masekela.

You haven't heard cowbell 'til you're heard someone like Tito Fuente play one! :)

Wow - no one has mentioned Incense & Peppermints by The Strawberry Alarm Clock.

Below is a link to my band The Coconut Conspiracy playing it during a rehearsal with a reel to reel tape recorder placed in the middle of the room.
This was in 1967 and I was on lead guitar and the oldest member of the band at 16. I was the only one "legally" able to drive us to our gigs.

You can hear our lead singer, Goody, appropriately & loudly playing the cow bell throughout.

Donny, a couple of nitpicks: I believe the Masekela tune is just "Grazin' in the Grass". And it's Tito Puente, not Fuente. :)
