Slovenia -- great geography, great neighbors, even better food and some hotties in those parts if you're over 5'10" -- they grow tall in them parts... :- )

So how is this different from an emmons push pull, I looked at pics and they seem iddentical.

Even the fretboard is the same!!

I'd like to agree with what my friend Blaz said. And to keep this on topic, I'd like to again express my admiration for Promat Pedal Steels in general and Slovenia in particular.

I have PROMAT serial nr 0, it’s an SD10, a great and warm sounding guitar with very long sustain.
It is not only a copy of the Emmons P/P, but an improvement, Mr. Dusan Papic used only high quality material

Damir, your promatsteelguitars.com signature link doesn't work. I also tried googling your site and couldn't find it. Just letting you know.

Promat was selling guitars by the word of mouth in Europe and was unknown in US until Bobbe Seymour from Nashville discovered it and helped them to get in US....

Does anyone have a link to an audio clip anywhere of a Promat? Last night, I found just one possibility – a video – that just spun and wouldn't play. Mostly, the search results were for some industrial product.

Tone Monsters

Post by Randy Gilliam »

Damir That Clip Of The Promat sounds Great, I Let a Guy Set In On Mine Friday For 5 Songs And Got out Front and They Sound So Good its Unreal. A.J.Shobert Your Question About The Difference In a Promat Vs Emmons PP, Mine Has a Lot Thicker Cabinet, Stainless Steel Changer Fingers That Will Not Wear Grooves In for the String Buzz, That Is The Two Improvements I See and The Tone On the PP and The Promat Is Incredible. I Been Playing Mine a Couple Weeks and So Far Its Great.Mr.Papic Works Very Hard on these Guitars and They Are Worth The $7000.00 To Get a New One, :D
