Each Friday nite, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
From Nashville, travel about 25 miles out I-40 West, to Exit 182, the Fairview/Burns exit. Turn south, go about 4 miles to the 'Y' take left fork,Horn Tavern Road, for about 1/4 mile or so. On the left side is the Junkyard Barn, complete with their "guard" Billy Goat that roams the front yard..
Good country music, with the Great Weldon Myrick playing pedal steel ,as only Mr Weldon plays it.
It is a family type show, and no smoking nor alcohol..And you will see kids, 6 to 16 or so, as well as the adults dancing and having a good time.Good food, cake raffles..and good country music.
Mr Weldon graciously invited me to share the stage, and sing some of my "vanilla" country songs..
I really enjoyed the night..and I will be back..
My thanks to Mr Weldon, and the band...

Jim,
You will enjoy the music. It's vintage Weldon Myrick music..He even sings some.
When you get to Exit 182, you will pass under the overpass, then exit, make the big loop, and turn right when you get to the top of the off ramp. That puts you going south, back across the I-40 West highway.
About 4 miles down the road, there is a garage on the right...can't remember the name, but it is displayed on the front of the building. Just beyond that, maybe a quarter mile or so, is the " y".
Horn Tavern road sign is on the back of the "Stop" sign, coming back the opposite way. Kinda hard to spot, but it's the only road to the left after you pass the garage,on the right..
Go about 1/4 mile or so, the Junkyard Barn is on the left.. Thru cyclone fence, and gate.
If you have Weldons, or Judi's cell number, that will help should you have any problems..
Enjoy..see ya,

Hey Rob, I've been there 2 times and really enjoyed it. The people are extremely friendly and Weldon is as great as ever on the steel. My father-in-law got to sing there, and it was a great honor for him to sing with Weldon Myrick playing behind him. We now live just south of this location in Columbia, Tn. and plan on visiting there often.
