My version of "Tear in my beer" by hank up on You

Post by James Kerr »

Here is my version of "There's a tear in my beer" by Hank Williams, played on my 1954 Teisco R1. I bought this guitar from a shop in Japan, it has a nice wee voice, I hope you agree.

Anyone who wants an Mp3 of the song, or the backing to try yourself, just send me a PM with an email address included.

I usually upload to Myspace too but its jammed by Jackson fans I think.

Your sounding fantastic James on that lap steel and I like that bar slant. Keep up the good work.

Thank you John, I'm enjoying myself making and playing these things, Twin neck next I think, an 8 & 6 string.

James I think that little guitar has a great big tone.
You pick the song very nicely too!

Thank you Bent,
I think Hank's songs just bring that out of me.
