My nephew has recently moved to Nashville. He is 28, and is a brilliant ASCAP Award-winning songwriter, and recently performed a song he wrote for the boxing legend and heavyweight champ Muhammad Ali titled "It Ain't Braggin" to kick off the Ryder Cup International Golf Tournament. He has written several songs and his most recent song titled "AMERICA" is as patriotic as I've ever heard. I can't wait until a major artist records it. I play steel, and he's been informed that it "WILL" have steel guitar on the recording. He agrees that of course it will. You must see this youtube. Our Nation, and the World needs to see this youtube, and understand our loyalty to " OUR COUNTRY ". Don't mess with
" AMERICA "

Beautiful song. I appreciate the lack of partisanship or political posturing. It's just a stark and beautiful reminder of how we all got here and why. We are all descended from immigrants. Even the American Indians migrated here from East Asia. It's the only country based on ideas such as freedom, democracy, and equality, rather than being merely the historical homeland of a particular ethnic group. And although our past has been imperfect and tortuous, we have mostly been moving in the right direction.

Maybe a musician from the FORUM will refer this song to a major country artist. Wouldn"t that be neat. Remember LEE GREENWOODS song " I'M PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN ".

Hey Bob, I'm getting the girls name and will let you know. I think she's possibly signing a contract with someone.Thanks for comment. My nephew sings and writes country music, and loves steel, but was only allowed these musicians on this cut. I've told him that the real cut must have steel on it, and he agrees. I may record steel on this cut when I get time, as I have a small recording studio, however I'm moving furniture to my new home in Tennessee. By the way, I'll contact you soon to upgrade my new address on the forum. I Moved from Texas to Nashville area recently.

Just got word that this dvd is going to be played on 2 large screens at some large park in Boston on July 4th. It's an annual patriotic event, and usually draws over 200,000 people.

Update on this song. They are going to play this video on July 4 in Boston on 2 large screens in front of approximately 500,000 people, and the song is scheduled to be cut on June 29 this month. It is also possibly going to be performed on October 16 at the "White House"
