Thanks for the compliments. Yeah we had a ball. Nathan was nervous and I was trying to talk him through it by telling him to smoke it. It was a pleasure and honor for me to pick with them. They have some good bands there on Friday nights.

Joey, sounds like you're a Mike Auldridge fan too. He's my dobro hero and Pickaway is one of my favorites along with Panhandle Country. Good pickin' sir.

"Pickaway" is a Vic Jordan tune.

You're right Tony. Mike is "The Man".
My favorite player. My version of Pickaway was lifted from him.
I'm playing a Clinesmith in the video, but other reso is a Mike Auldridge Custom.

The Seldom Scene's "Live At The Cellar Door" LP is my idea of Bluegrass perfection.

I have some pics with Mike at http://joeyace.com/album11.htm

Joey, you're a man of many talents and that's great. I also got to jam with Mike at a local festival when he was still with the Scene. I had great time and he was very nice to me and that means a lot to me.

Rick, Vic Jordan's the man!

One of my favorite quotes about Mike Auldridge:

Quote:
"I worship the crease in his jeans." - Howard Parker

Ric, I never got to see Vic, but do have an early recording of him doing Pickaway. I didn't realize he wrote it. Seems like such a standard. Thanks for the info.
