Chris: I checked on flights over a month ago & got a very good fare; however, I don't have to travel as far as you do! Hope to see you there again this year.
Jeff: I'm glad to hear that Bob Lucier is coming to your show. Like you, I've been a fan of his for a long time AND bought the same album of his that you pictured, above when it was 1st released.
See you all in Caroline!! Jim H.

I had a great time last year and I am definately going again this year. When I was mingling last year Chris LeDrew who by the way played a great set, mentioned that a lot of steel players got together and jammed the night before. I was wondering if any steel players will be playing or jamming in the vicinity on the night before the show? I'll be pulling in around supper time on Saturday and would like to meet and greet, jam etc!!!

Hey Bruce! It was great chatting with you at last year's show. Thanks for the kind words about my set. It was nerve-wracking, but I was so grateful for the opportunity. I was almost able to make it this year again, but time constraints won't allow it. I don't recall a jam on the Saturday; I probably mentioned meeting Don Helms at the hotel and secretly hoping he'd come to my room and jam, but I didn't actually witness any jamming going on.

2 announcements
1) Bob Lucier will be unable to attend this year due to personal issues. Hopefully he will be able to make it next year.
2) Jim Loessberg has been added to the lineup. Jim is one of my very favorite players on C6 and E9..classic style/tone all the way. He currently tours with the great Ray Price. I am very pleased that he is coming this year.

Jeff as we talked on the phone earlier, I sure hated to have to cancel on this great Show and opportunity.
Due to circumstances beyond my control I will not get to be there this year. Maybe next year.

Hello everybody,
Just a word of kind thanks to Jeff and all the folks who worked tirelessly to put on the show. I had a great time and all of the people there couldn't have been any nicer.
The line-up of players was superb and included super player and all around nice guy Doug Jernigan, the master showman Kayton Roberts and many great players from Canada. I likely would have never gotten to hear some of these fine players if Jeff had not invited me to be on the show and I am very grateful. I was able to see some old friends and make many new ones and I am looking forward to coming back to Canada.
So do yourselves a favor and make your plans for next year's show -- you will thank yourselves!
Best wishes,
Jim

Well! What a show!!
Jim Loessberg put on one heck of a great show.
Let me say that Jim arrived for this show
with picks and bar and to have him put
on the show he did with borrowed gear was
a knock out.
Thanks Jim
If I would have know all those licks you played
were on that guitar I would have not sold it to Bradshaw.
Doug Jernigan what can we say that's already been
said. True pro all the way "always" I've known
Doug for 30 some years and I love this man
for helping me to where I am.
The rest of all the players are friends pals, buds and most of all are a great supporters for all us. Kayton Roberts does it all and is a great man.
