*** The Steel Guitar Network ***

Post by Hank Ruf »

Additional option to the Steel Guitar Forum

The Steel Guitar Network website was established in 2009 "for the love of the pedal steel guitar" and to give steel players of all skill levels an opportunity to build a special steel guitar community. "If you build it, they will come".

The Steel Guitar Network Store has it's own product line called "SGN Products".
SGN Strings for guitar, pedal steel and lap steel guitar strings are designed to stand up to all your string demands. We guarantee you will love them or your money back.

SGN Accessories are similar to George L's products but less expensive.

I'm very curious. I decided to join, so I typed in my email address, only to be told that my email address was already registered. So I decided to try and log in. I entered my Steel Guitar Forum password, which only I and b0b know, and I got straight in. I was a little perplexed, but since I often forget things I've done (I've reached that age !) I assumed I must have registered some time in the past. After logging in I was invited to join, which I did, and there was already a photo of me there, and not the one I use as my avatar on the Forum. How did a new forum which didn't previously exist have a photo of me, my email address and my SGF password ? :\ :\ :\

I've joined all sorts of organizations over the years; too many to remember. Is this new network based on a previous network ? If so it would explain that it started off in its present incarnation with an inherited database.

Hank, I took one look and said This is it.
The player is a great feature and it will become my steel radio as I cruise this and your forum. I predict that you will get more contributions than you can handle, and I encourage everybody who can pick tune, to contribute to Hank's forum.

I want to post a couple of tunes by friends, on their agreement of course. How do I go about doing that?

Great work, and a great idea Hank!

Wow , Hank , this is great ; you have a good start with your project; I, too , enjoy your pick of steel Players to furnish we new members with the best in Instrumental music, just the kind we all love and appreciate so much. I , also had trouble with giving a password. The site would not accept the one I've used for a long time.. What is the critera for choosing a new pass word ?
The best of luck to you with your fine new Web Site..Bernie  :D  :whoa: :whoa:
