Steve, I am not sure what it means but make sure that your pics are not too big..if so, the forum rejects them and I think that is maybe went the de-bug mode kicks in.
I size my pics in photoshop to 4X6" and never have a problem.

You cannot simply rename a bitmap, or any other image file to another extension and have it open in a photo program. It must be saved as the format you desire, in a photo editor. Each image format contains specific meta data about its file type and properties. Saving as a different file type corrects this data so the appropriate program can open the file for viewing.

Thanks, Bent and Wiz, Wiz nailed it as I merely tried to rename the bmp file without using a photo editor to change it to jpeg. So what does "de-bug" acutally mean? Does it just mean "reject"? T

Steve, in computer talk, 'debug' means to find and remedy a problem, usually in software. In your case, the problem was an improper filename, and the remedy was to refuse to transfer the file and notify the user (you).

Debug and Error messages are infamous for being cryptic or obscure. I imagine that I could go on for a few more paragraphs here on the topic, but I think that you get the idea.

HTH.
