thanks alot Rick and Hal. This isn't my usual setup i use when i play... i usually use a 1000 or 112 with an rv-3 and a hilton pedal. On the videos i used a session 500 and profex 2 with a derby pedal. But there is just something so unique about the sound... kind of an older like sound that i just love now that i've been listening to it more.
There's nothing wrong with that setup, but I get the impression that "you" can get good tone out of most any combination of equipment. Great job, keep them coming.
Chris, that was just awsome man,Im a big John Hughey fan here in New Zealand,Wish i could have started playing at your age, just give it all you can, your great,,
WOW!! thanks a bunch guys for all the nice compliments. This is another thing i love so much about this forum - everyone is so nice and supportive of everyone else. We all have the same interests and love for music and the steel guitar. We should really thank Bob for keeping such a GREAT thing going.
I'm going to try to record maybe 2 more videos tonight and then get them on the computer hopefully by tonight or tomorrow evening at the latest.
