Borrowed Angel ….. Couldn’t help it! Honest!
Nic’s rendition of this just blew me away and I had to have a go especially when he sent the backing track. So I am the first ’MUG’ to have a go ‘I GUESS’
As much as I tried I couldn’t get some of those licks on the 12! But later managed it on the 10 …So there may be a version two!
Not a patch on his playing on the pp but I just had to do it!.. hope I’m forgiven for the oops bits!
thanks Nic
Regards...Bob

Hey Bob, You sure put a lot of nice licks in it, and it sounds good,
all you need to do now, is play it a few times to smooth it out.
I played Nic's track for 2 days to learn how the melody sounds,
and yesterday I was able to play it, but haven't used the tab yet.
I love the way Nic plays it, and will try printing the tab big enough,
so I can read it, and learn to play the pretty licks the way he does.
I'm just learning how to play again, since a bad accident in 2007.
It's so nice that guys like Nic, Dave, Ricky and others are helping me.

Bob,
Nothing wrong with your rendition.....I reckon you must just try to relax a bit. Before I record any of my numbers I usually run each one through until I feel relaxed whilst playing. Sometimes this may take a few days!..... no rush. As I go along I tend to 'clean up' the number by taking out certain licks, and put in something that I reckon may fit better. Only then do I put together a rough backtrack and play with it a few times before I do a take.
Thanks for your nice comments on my playing.
Carl, Taking baby steps now, will pay off in the long run. Give me a holler if there's anything I can help with.

Nic! you have nailed it, patience is the answer without a doubt, trying to get a result in too big a hurry, I have been more patient with audio, making changes etc., but this video lark takes no prisoners! I guess I’m forcing myself to do them to improve my playing since I’ve been away from it a while. I think the last one on the tube is more relaxed! Hopefully!
Carl thank you also for your kind words, every good wish from Scotland in your road back!
Nic, I appreciate you taking the time to reply …..thank you……Bob
