You know how tires stores chain about ten tires together so they're too heavy and bulky to steal? Well, with all of the engineers and tech experts at SGF, maybe something on the same principle could be devised for grouping several cases (with guitars in them) in some way that would prevent a burglar from carrying them away. So when you're away from home for a weekend, you could drastically reduce the chances of somebody walking off with several axes.

If you have a double neck, drill a 1/2 inch hole between the two necks and place an eye bolt. Also drill a 1/2 inch hole in the floor, directly under the hole in the PSG. Just make sure the cable or chain you connect these two eye bolts with, is strong. This will also work for the guitar and bass player. Drummers... well, thats another story, as most drummers don't know 1/2 inch from a hole in the ground.

Jeff,

What do you call a drummer who just broke up with his girlfriend?

Homeless.

Stick a skunk in the case and leave the case out where everyone can see it!

Barry,

I've been checking into a lot of new security methods, but I had no idea that they make a 7-shot 38/357 wheel gun.

You could attach a tracking device underneath. The average thief knows nothing about what a pedal steel mechanism looks like and wouldn't notice a bug. That way, not only would the police be able to recover your steel, they would be able to put the perpetrators away and save other victims.
