Glad to hear that you're having a steel guitar club down there. This is the first time I've heard of your club. Please forgive me if I've missed it. I belong to the Ozark Steel Guitar Association. The club has been going for several years. The last 3 years we've been meeting bi-monthly in Branson at the Community Center. The last 2 years our club has had 2 shows, one in February and the other in July. We have several pro pickers that join us on these bi-monthly jam sessions. We usually have around 10 to 12 pickers! We've had the privilege of attending the Siloam Springs shows for the past 6 years and have really enjoyed it. They have a good strong club there! Hope things are going great for your club! We would enjoy hearing about it. And come visit us in Branson sometime.

Sam,we have 21 members and have had our second meeting.we are just getting started,we hold our meetings the first Sunday of the month.we have a web page and are in process of building it,we will be adding photos and other club information and feature information on each member as time and space allows.if you are going to be in the Benton or Bryant,Little Rock area.let me know.i will give you directions to the meeting .next meeting i will bring up the idea of guests who hold a membership to any steel guitar club and are in that area on a meeting day can come to the club meeting and visit.that might be an idea for all clubs to extend that to other club members everywhere.Google the name CentralArkansassteelguitarassociation, and see if it brings up our wab page. Hope to see you sometime,im coming to Branson July 24th to trade in my Mullen steel on my New G2.i ordered.

It's good you extend a welcome to other steel club members. We open ours to others, also. Anyone is welcome to come and play in our bi-monthly jams. We have people from Texas, Arkansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma,
Kansas, and of course, Missouri. We have over 250 members in 40 states, and 8 foreign countries. We'll be glad to see you in Branson on the 24th of July. We always have a great show every July! I'm the chaplain so come by and let's get acquainted.

Hey Rudy, Ken and the rest of you CASGA guys. Had a great time Sunday at the meeting with the fellowship and the picking. I really enjoyed getting to play alongside Gene Simmons. I've known Gene a long time and he's always been a very tasteful and smooth player and one of my favorites. I wish the club the best and the rest of you guys around Arkansas and bordering states need to check out the CASGA.
