Gretsch'n... a must see!

Post by Bob Adams »

Walking in the footsteps or what!

This young lady fancies trying steel guitar! If she can master it like that, the future could be ‘Orange’ … she is from Oregon so if there are any of you nearby and fancy offering your services get in touch!....she’s good eh!?

Hi Micky,

For her age I thought she was amazing!and like you thought she had been 'born 'n bread' on Chet! .. I posted a little message and got this back from her....

'I didn't know Chet until about 1 year ago when I found him on Youtube. I admire his music so much, especially his earlier years when he would play his Gretsch. I feel I know him even though I haven't met him. He has taught me how to play his style. I love to watch and listen and try what he does/did. I would have loved to meet him in person.'

The power of Youtube eh! She is not alone in that last remark! great to see young talent tho' isn't it!

Regards, bob :D

Just amazing, especially when music can just 'skip the generations' like this.

I bet Chet would have been proud - I am, and I have no connection with either of them!

Thanks for posting.

Roger, you're a nut case  ....Hey I just came back from visiting Eric Snowball first time in years, he was so pleased to see me. Lots of good memories from years ago when I got stuff from his shop. I still have a Boss/Tone I got off him in 1970, and it works flawlessly.
Cheers Rog.
