Egil Baby
Hey Egil, I've listened to the song and you are right on target! A good country song and played in both the old and new tradition! Let me know when the CD is available and I'll place an order with you. Once again, you did a fine job and I'm looking forward to hearing the entire CD. Scotty

Hi.
And thanks alot for your nice comments. Will like to add that the CD is almost ready for mixing, but with cover and pressing, etc. it will still take a few weeks until it`s ready.I am also working on a new homepage that will be up and going soon I hope, then more clips and examples will be listed.
The CD is a mix of instrumentals, some originals, and some vocal guests, good songs I hope with lots of steel on!.
Will let you all know when the CD and homepage is up and going.
Thanks-Egil.

Egil-I finally waited long enough to download your recording, my Isp is pretty slow.
I will agree that it is a fine E9th rendition.
We are so lucky to hear some fine recordings that we hear from our members on Charles Tilley's" Steel on the Web Website "Songs heard around the World". The Steel Guitar Forum is a great place to be...al.

Egil Skjelnes, - Egil Baby!
Egil Baby - affectionately called so by Scotty - will soon be out with a long overdue cd. And if you scroll down to his post here, you can find a link to music videos made on 2 of the songs. (Egil, perhaps you could post those links here again?)
Egil is a pioneer and a somewhat of a legend when it comes to the steel guitar over here in Scandinavia, and for a good reason: Cross pollinate Lloyd Green with Tom Brumley(R.I.P.), and you get a good take on how he sounds!
And he writes good instrumentals, too, just listen to "Goin`Fishin`," and enjoy it while watching pictures of Egil fishing in Norway`s scenic Hardangerfjord.
Give it a listen!
