The monthly KSGA meeting will take place this Sunday March 7th at the Community Building on 4th St. & West Ave. in Baxter Springs, Kansas from 1:00-5:00. We had to cancel last month because of bad weather so I know everyone is getting itchy to pick again. Anyone and everyone is invited to attend for picking and fellowship. Any questions feel free to e-mail me at rayqualls@4state.com or call at 620-856-3314. Just keep on steelin!

I know I am itching to get back to the club. I have been way to darn busy the last few months, but I will be there and will be ready to see all ya all again.

Well, what a good time was had Sunday! Thanks to Vance Monday of Bella Vista, Ar. for coming and he brought Max Smith to play bass along with him. Max is from Iowa and is a good friend to a lot of people. We also had a new member come by the name of Glen Vaughn playing an Emmons. Glen is from north of Pittsburg, Kansas and he plays a fine steel guitar. Also had myself, Douglas Hudson and Lee Ogle there to play. Dennis Turner on Drums and Bill Judd on rythm guitar. Other members and guests were Bob Taylor, Marvin Groff, John & Ruth Thomas, Betty Hudson, Mrs Judd and my wife Elizabeth who brought carrot cake and peanuts for desert. We missed several players who couldn't make it but the weather was great and it was good to just get out of the house. Again, thanks to everyone who made it and we're looking forward again to next month.
