I just put on a Sample Song of Billy Robinson playing "Caravan". Which is on his CD #1
He is a true artist of the steel guitar. see what you think.

This is awesome and all that playing and NO pedals

After you click this link, then click the CD on his site. Give it time to load.

I've never been a lap steel, or even C6 fan. I guess I'm just too honky tonk country for all that. But, this keeps getting my attention and I find myself going back and listening to it over and over. "Caravan" is a great tune. Duke Ellington I think. I can hear a lot of possibilities for different instruments in that tune.

I'm not familiar with Billy Robinson but he get a blue ribbon from me on this one. Smile Smile Smile
