Beginners Notes #67-Speed picking-A close look.

I am going to point you to two pieces of information.
First http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=150291&start=75 Kenny Martins first post
where he talks about raising and lowering his Es and taking 5 different phrases from great pickers,
like Bruce Bouton, Tommy White, Buddy Emmons, Paul Franklin as well as one of his own and tying
them together. The other piece is one that Kenny plays using, I suspect, all of these phrases, with
connecting patterns. We are not learning this song, we are examining patterns and connecting
passages. A word of thanks to Kenny for putting so much material in one song, then posting on
Youtube to be looked at by anyone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-8EyELZVoc
Jump in here Kenny, if I mess this up.

The first pattern we’ll look at, starts at 0:16 to 0:19 seconds, played at the third fret with the
Es lowered. I’m going to think of this as the 7th pattern, because it is played two frets back
from the pedal down “Key” position, in this case “A”.

Let’s call this Part “1” or 7th pattern using the Es lowered.

Hey Kenny,
Right, I just tried to tab what I was hearing when I slowed it down. I couldn't do the whole song, way above my head, but just a couple licks he is using as I hear them. Note, the examples are not played where he played them. Trying to learn this material myself and thought someone else might get some use of it also.
Thank you for the question...
