Another great evening of entertainment at their Steel Guitar Jamboree Saturday night in Siloam Springs. The effort that Roger Osbourn and the members put into their events always is evident in the results. Too many names and happenings to detail here but one of the highlights of the evening for me was meeting and visiting with Scott and Teresa Henderson from Eldon, Mo. What a fine young couple and what a fine multi talent Scott is ! He was playing an 80's model Dekley 12 string universal and did some numbers you seldom hear and a great singing voice --wonderful entertainer. When in the Lake of the Ozarks area be sure and take in The Lee Mace Ozark Opry at Osage Beach where Scotty works. I belive their season starts the first of May this summer.
I'm sure others will add their comments to this posting so I'll wait on them on the rest of the evening ; suffice to say now - it was a great line up and the crowds are growing with each event.

Bill it was good to meet you in person. Bill's wife is an alumni of the ozark opry and was good to talk about opry folks and remember. What a great evening of pickin and fellowship. I think the most touching event of the evening was when Tim played Ivan's favorite song(and did a great job!) and Zelpha came up and stood beside him. It warmed my heart and dampened my eyes. Zelpha I can tell from our conversation you had a great life with wonderful person who loved what he did ALMOST as much as you! See you all soon and thanks again

Enjoyed Scott's playing. Jerry had seen him at Baxter Springs, but I wasn't there. Seem's like a nice guy too. Donna

Tim McCutchen continues to impress me with his selection of numbers and the way he performs them. He always has something differant and has worked it out well. This time he did a fine job on a number from the Video Tape of Hal Rugg & Buddy Emmons live from the Cove entitled "Watch What Happens". He told me he would try to find time to learn one of my favorite Emmons Big Band numbers called "Take the A Train" and does all this while leading a fine class 5 A girls basketball team towards a state playoff. Great job Tim, and good luck with the rest of this season.
