Nylon hex nuts

Post by Frank Allen »

Howdy! New to the group and PSG's and was wondering where I can get those little nylon hex nuts that go on the end of the rods for tuning. Several of mine are cracked or marginal on my 1971 Marlen. That's not all that's cracked or marginal, but it's a start.

Thanks!

George-L has both sizes. Don't have their address or phone no. handy but you can find them in links at top of the opening page of this Forum. Andy H. I just looked; it's at the top of this page too.

The George L nuts must be either pre-threaded to go on or if you are real strong maybe you can get them started by pushing really hard. I could not.
I would recommend taping the holes 1st then install them.

I have some available at the link below. They come threaded to a 5-40 thread and are 1/2 long.
