Up for sale #0002 Sierra Lap steel with legs. Black finish model ,8 Strings, 5 way George L pickup. The guitar is in great condition with usual wear. Also a stutter button is on the instrument. I paid $1635 new back several years ago straight from the factory. I would like $1050 shipped.

Mine is serial #002.
Not calling you a liar, Todd. It's confusing, though. I know for a fact that mine was the second one built. Bobby Black got the first one, and I got the second. I just checked to be sure and the number is 002.
Maybe they restarted serial numbers when the company changed hands, or when they added legs.

b0b, yeah I've seen your posts of owning #2. This is from the restart up of the company when they moved to Mollala OR. I think mine was second to a Sacred Steeler who's name escapes me. They restarted the number system, I'll check but mine might be labeled 0002. When I started this topic I was about to differentiate our guitars to avoid confusion.

I know that Darick Campbell has one. Maybe that's the one you're thinking of.
Back to the subject, these are great steel guitars. They're a bit heavy for lap playing, but the one that Todd's selling has legs so you wouldn't have to worry about that. Mine is the best sounding steel guitar I've ever played.
Todd has priced this below market value, in my opinion. Someone should snatch it up.
