I'll join in and say great work, Bruce!!!

Also, Bruce, thanks for the plug for our friend Peter (Don Pedro???). If y'all would like to hear some beautiful Steel playing of some classic gospel and hymns, do yourselves a favor and contact Peter with an email through this forum. The CD is called Tonar från Himlen...Tunes from Heaven and man does it sound heavenly!

Great job Bruce. Wondering how do you get that awesome quivering sound in the video of City Lights at the 0:44-0:46....Thanks

Here's another everyone knows, and again, excellent execution, as well as, a great tone. At least on my end, I'm hearing it that way.

Great Tone

Nice job Bruce,

Ricky, to me it looks like a bar shiver. However, it's a very subtle quiver huh? Not overdone, just the right amount for the intended effect. That's what it looks like to me. I should just let Bruce tone in on this one.

I think you'll find, what you were hearing was done by lifting a pedal, (knee), combos along with great Hand Coordination, & Bar control, in going between one fret to the next. Makes for some great voicings.

Correct me if I'm wrong. But that's what my ears told me.. :D

I'm thinking that was the sound in those changes that had you confused.

Bruce would know best.. :)

Thankyou Don, Ricky & Bent for your kind words, it is much appreciated here!

Don, you are correct about that little passage, the first time it decends strings 5,6 & bring in the 4th string lowering. the second time it's just 5 & 6 pedals down strings decending from frets 10 down to 8 & A pedal off.along with a little vibrato or shiver to get a little effect. a little delay will magnify the effect as well. It does move quick though.Hope this helps Ricky.
