I watched ALL the Buckaroo videos! How could you not love Don Rich?? And yes, Tom and that ZB sounded just exactly right. Be sure not to miss the ones with Wynn Stewart, either.
I barely remember seeing Buck's show as a kid, it sure is nice that we can view them again. |

Besides the great performance, how about that mix!! And Tom's solo - did that precede "Together Again"? He used the same trademark move. _________________ -๐๐๐- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |

Tom and Dons vocal harmonies were as sweet as TB's steel... Modern technology is wonderful and today's gear is great, but nothing in the tone of that ZB and Twin [and Tom's hands] can ever be improved upon.. that was tone to the bone.. the entire tune was terrific.. Thanks Dave, I dunno where you dig this stuff up, but I sure appreciate it!!!... bob |

I'm with you b0b. I'd like to know which came first - Together Again or Don't Let Her Know. That signature lick was in both songs. |

b0b-I'm pretty sure Together Again came first (recorded on a Fender - preZB)...and Don't let her Know was a followup in similar vein to a smash hit - hey it worked once! why not do it again?!
Bob C- the original source is the Ranch Show Videos available at http://buckowens.com/ranchshow.html that I have been goin' on about on this forum for some years now. Someone digitized and uploaded it and I did a search on You Tube for "brumley"[/url] |
