My Tube Screamer Classic TS10 no longer clicks on, so I need to fix it or get something new.

I'm playing the Perl Jam in Highland Park this Saturday, if anyone else playing the jam has an overdrive pedal they think I should try out, please bring it along. What better place to try out distortion pedals than over endless slow Ray Price shuffles in BIAB!!!
Wink

I may attend Sunday just to hang and shoot photos, too, so either day might work, but Saturday for sure.

I'm particularly interested in the Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive, BOSS BD-2 and OD-3, but interested in hearing and trying anything based on your personal experiences with the stompboxes.

Also, if anyone recommends a reasonably priced repair place for my dead TS, let me know. It's just the on/off switch has gone flaky and finally dead.

Twang,
You can always use the Guitar Center "rental" policy: buy whatever and return it within 30 days if you don't like it.I use an Ibanez tube screamer TSD9X(the older one with 4 adjustment knobs) and a Zen Drive (not available from GC) I have used a Full Tone drive too (available from GC).

If anyone brings a Keeley Katana, try it! It's a killer clean boost, but gets gnarly when you pull the pot out.

I don`t think anyone will pull the pot out at a steel jam.

Olli, this is a gaggle of Los Angeles steelers, you never WHAT they'll pull out...including all the stops!
