Great time

Post by Mickey Adams »

You guys, this is the way we do things in Texas!...(Like Im from here right?)..LOL..Yes I recorded this last Sunday. I went to the show to listen of course, but I was really hoping to sit down and do an interview with the man. I want to include in my Utube channel, interviews with these guys that we all admire so much. Unfortunately i didn't get the chance...Take a look at the 13 yr old (yes 13) Jade Jack playing fiddle..She is the granddaughter of one of the band members...There is another video on my channel of her singing One More Time...cute as a button, and has really good pitch control vocally and musically...A real treat to listen to...Mick, Heres the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1vdpqdFRqc

Yea Mickey
I heard her play and sing at cancer benefit at Pearls last year.
I met jerry and Barbara there and Barbara sang some songs.
I sure enjoyed hearing Leona and Ron also.
See was up there with Miss Leslie doing some dueling fiddles.
Sounded great.
They had Dixie Hankens on drums
Johnny Cox on bass dressed up like a woman, funny as hell!
and Joan Cox on steel.
It was a lot of fun and a great cause.

Yea kinda funny..
I did not know who it was at 1st

Oh well I met a bunch of really nice folks that day and got some great pics.

Ron and Leona are just great people.

Ron came over and talked to us for a while and then Leona followed.

Got some good pics of Jerry and Barb together with the 2 of them.

I think Leona wrote one of the songs on the CD you just learned for Mac and Dyan-Jerry and Barb.

Moon and The Guitar Teacher

Post by Bernie Gonyea »

:D  :P  :whoa:

Mickey, good pic of you and the Moon Man; How old is he now? I loved the young gal on fiddle and such a nice down to earth country sounding voice; and to be performing with one of the greatest steel pickers, of all time. You surely enjoy yourself, Mickey.
And was the star of the show, Mr. Johnny Cox?
