Tom Brumley's Web Site UPDATE

Post by Randy Weideman »

I don't know how many members know about Tom Brumley's Web Site. When Tom, Rolene and I put together this site, because of Tom's busy schedule, we never took the final step, to making a announcement about it. Rolene asked if I would put together a special video for the site of different video shots and then post it on the forum. It has been completed and was uploaded this morning.

Rolene wrote this:

Yes, please do put the Sunday thing on his site. Rolene and thanks for all the other.

Rolene

To seen the video go to:

Great job on the web site. I especially enjoyed the photos and video of Tom's playing.

Tom as well as Buck and the Buckaroos are a legend, and will be greatly missed.

Tom also has a MySpace site which I am glad to say lists me as a friend. You can find him here, he will go on playing as long as you wish.

I never personally met Tom however, I have always admired his style and music. I looked up to Tom and to many that have learned to master this instrument. He will be missed but his music will live on. God Bless.

A big “Thank You” to Randy Weideman for posting Tom's website. It's an awesome tribute.

Hi Randy,

Great job on the website, and thanks to you and Mrs. Brumley.

A note to the viewers, watch his vibrato with the bar hand, and is positioning, his tone and his clean approach to playing the melody of the songs.

This shows what a Master player he was, and just fabulous. Thanks again and may GOD bless!

Thanks Randy, great job. Are the CD's still available? Sure would love to have them both.

God Bless you man for what you have done, in my mind Tom will live forever. God take care of the Brumley family.

I'm a little surprised that even this didn't bring the "Big E" out of his hole to make a comment. Dissapointed too.

With all due respect, I don't doubt that Mr. Emmons has deep feelings regarding Tom's death. But I don't there's any necessity to make them public. I'm sure he has friends closer to him than us with whom he can share them, as well as with Tom's family privately. I know we are all concerned about his withdrawal for the past year or so, but let's respect his privacy. We owe him a lot. He owes us nothing.
