Across Blue Mountains- New CD

Post by Kevin Macneil Brown »

I'd like to offer an invitation to any who'd care to listen to my latest collection. The music ranges from acoustic americana to ambient/textural explorations. Instruments used include National New Yorker, 1977 Dobro, and Melobar 6 string.

Here's a link to listen:

For those interested in recording details, etc., some notes can be found here:

Thanks for listening!

Kevin,

When I listen to these recordings, I close my eyes and feel your steel guitars taking me back to the land, to the people who inhabit this land and the stories they leave behind. A primordial journey.

Thank you so much for sharing this.

Thanks, Susan. I deeply appreciate your perceptions.
This project runs a wide gamut from sparse/acoustic to dense/ ambient-- so I'm quite honored by your description of it as being "primordial."
My touchstone in this comes from Charles Olson, my favorite poet: "...leave/ the roots on, let them/ dangle..."
