LaGarritt (Rittenberry)- SD10 3x4 "SOLD"
2003 LaGarritt (built by none other than Gary Rittenberry), SD-10 w/3x4 standard Emmons configuration, very nice guitar w/one bar ding between the pad and neck, nothing major. Good tone, solid feeling, George-L pup, a great value in a professional guitar. Asking $1,199 + shipping costs.

LaGarritt is back on the Forum "for sale"
This guitar is "for sale" once again! Ignore the "sold" post as that sale fell through. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

LaGarritt
Yes Gordy, it most definitely has a hard case with leather-look vinyl and red satin/velvet interior. Sorry I did not post a photo of the case.

I have a LaGarritt that is very similar to this... and I can vouch for their durability, design and most importantly, their tone!!! If you want a nice, thick & smoothe, push-pull sounding steel... this is the way to go.
These things are built like a tank, well designed, smoothe operating and smoothe looking. Gary really knows how to build a guitar!!!
If I had the cash, I would be the proud owner of 2 LaGarritt's...but then I would be too spoiled!!!
I hope someone jumps on this amazing deal.

I have no dog in this hunt at all, but I'm amazed this is still here. We have people constantly asking about starter guitars not much cheaper than this, and here is a serious pro-level guitar built by Gary Rittenberry for $1099. If I wasn't steel heavy right now and I needed a steel, I'd grab this in a heartbeat.
Of course, do your research and all that, but look at the comments and youtube clips on the Rittenberry guitars that Bobbe Seymour sells. I've played a couple, and they really are fine guitars, to my tastes. Just my opinion - and really, I'm not getting paid. Hey, it would be easy to talk myself into this, but first I'd have to find somewhere to put it. These blasted pedal steels take up a lot of room.

LaGarritt
Thank you all for the support and good words. I agree that "starter" guitars are not much less than this, but this is one you can stay with for the duration of the experience. Like many have discovered, I can only play one guitar at a time. Again, thank you my friends on the Forum. You meet the nicest people on a pedal steel, (used to be a Honda, but I borrowed this from them!!) I have friends all over the US now, in nearly every state since becoming a Forumite.
