Mark,

Mickey Adams is the BEST when it comes to teaching. Start from the first video and go all the way through to the last. But beware, Mickeys videos will keep you up all night long playing!

I agree Austin and I have grabbed all of them to watch. His naming system is not so good, there is little to show which is the first or last. Some have BE numbers but there are gaps. Its a bit like serial numbers on guitars!

Mark, thanks for tuning into my videos...And I appreiate your post. I never intended to post this many, and they were random for quite awhile....BEX stands for Beginners Exercises, BEC for Beginner Cover Phrases....If youre just beginning I would suggest that you use the exercises to build dexterity and coordination in your right hand first...makes all those pro moves come a little easier down the road..good luck, and feel free to write me if I can help you in any way.....Mick

Hey Mickey!
Its not only for begginers!!!
I'm a seasoned player and still cruze over and watch some of your videos to straighten me out!

When you are working a cover tune and learn the lick sometimes it doesn't come out right. That's when i head to your stuff.

So for the rookies its awesome and for us that think we have it figured out, well Mickey comes in handy to set us straight!

Great stuff and what an awesome thing to do to help new players!
Thanks Mickey!!

Hey Mickey!
Well, i would like to get your take on this tune as a instrumental. I play it and there are a lot of good ways to do it but i think you can break it down better than most but in an advanced way!

As you can see from watching me (when i'm not drinking) i tend to get a speeding ticket most of the time. This song in a 4/4 time will make you play it on the money!!

Thanks as always for taking the time to reply to us amatuers!!!

Back Course

Post by Mickey Adams »

The Back course approach is a misnomer...You're always told...TUNE THE FRONT COURSE...right?...Ok well...the BC button only reverses the polarity of the CDI sensing..So...how many years did it take me to find that tidbit?...Ive always tuned the front course on BC approaches and flown "to the needle"....Forget arming the AP to change the Flight Director polarity...TOO much input!...KISS...Keep it Simple Stupid! Agreed?...Mick
