It pains me to have to sell this, ‘lonesome sound’ machine, I was into steel for a while, but I found it was hurting my hand and I’m hurting for $$$ more. If you’re looking at this you know what it is, but here’s the sell anyway:
It’s a pre WW II Rickenbacher B6, (Bakelite), lap steel, the original horse shoe pick up is long gone, but I refurbished it with a Jason Lollar/Rick Aiello copy, (you should have seen what someone before me had in there!!). Original butter bean tuners.
It’s in Good shape not pristine, the pick guards need a little help, the knobs are not original, but it’s probably more a players, not a collectors lap steel. It would be great if it could be picked up as I’m nervous about the Bakelite breaking, (I’m in Maryland). But, I will do my best to pack the heck out of it if that’s the way it has to go. I’ll throw in a little gig bag, bar/book and a home made table top I made for it. I’d like $700.00 for it. . .Thanks for looking, if you’re truly interested I can send other pictures or answer any other questions you might have . .here's my info:
