Swingin' West- Mike Gross Dec. 24/7 show now on Internet
The December edition of the recorded continuous airing of "Swingin' West" has just come up on the Internet on twangtownusa.com. It will be on 24 hours a day seven days a week, over and over, for the entire month.
The theme for this month, December, is a “Swingin’ West” holiday party. It will include songs of the season, a touch of inspirational swing and a mixed grouping of non-holiday items with John England and the Western Swingers, the Lone Star Troubadours and Mary Allen- Keating backed by the National Band of Texas, the River Road Boys.
Among others that you will enjoy on this show will steel guitarists Bill Dessens, Bobbe Seymour and the late Steel Guitar Hall of Famer, John Hughey. From Western Swing history you can enjoy the Miller Brothers Band and from the youth of today Grace-Anne Elliot as well as the Wallace Family.
Other voices you will hear will include Barbara Nelson, Terry Smith, Kip Calahan, Curly Musgrave, Joe Paul Nichols and Judy DeRamus with the Jordanaires. The album closes with the theme by steel guitar whiz Buzz Evans.
The recorded edition of "Swingin' West" can always be heard by clicking the mouse on the appropriate spot on the bottom of the home page of the "Swingin' West" web site, www.swinginwest.com
Thank You!

Don,
Thanks so very much for the bump and a very Merry Christmas to you my friend. It has always been my pleasure to support the steel players since "Swingin' West" started back in 1980. I also want to wish a Merry Christmas to all of my "Swingin' West" listeners here on the Forum and also to those that have supported me by keeping my threads up there with a bump. May you all have a Happy, Healthy and musically successful 2009.
