Curious about Emmons problems

Post by Andy Hinton »

We all know that Garry finally got his new Emmons & we're happy about that, but what about my neighbor; Charles Dempsey. He had the same experience as Garry but haven't heard if he got his. Just wonderin'. Andy H.

Hey Andy. I received a tracking number from Emmons on October 8, and she arrived on October 10. That breaks down as:

* 1 year, 7 months, 9 days
or
* 84 weeks (rounded down)
or
* 589 days
or
* 14,136 hours
or
* 848,160 minutes
or
* 50,889,600 seconds

I'm very pleased with the guitar, but it was probably the longest 51 million seconds of my life!

Hey! I'm glad you got it finally, Charlie. I'm surprised we haven't met, since your home is in Shongaloo & I'm in Minden & hang out a lot at Roberts Music on Main St.; It's the Steel store in this area& a lot of Jammin' goes on there every day. Walter HAD been The Emmons dealer for N.La. for over 20 yrs. 'till he had this same experience,only longer & had to return almost $9'000.00 on 2 new LeGrande 111s. Needless to say he is no longer an Emmons dealer. Drop by sometime when you have some free time & jam with us. Andy H.

I saw Mike "Cookie" Jone's new Legrande the other night. He's very happy with it but the wait was 2 years getting it. When I ordered my green one back in '99 it only took 16 weeks.
