Thats right! Taking the complete band with fiddle & steel to the Le Festival Country Rendez-Vous sur les ondes de France. I only play one 65 minute show and the schedule isn't up yet so I don't know which night I play but I have the contract back as well as all the airline tickets. We'll have a long layover in London and fly into Lyon France where we will be picked up and taken to the festival. My show will consist of ALL SELF PENNED WC EDGAR HARD CORE HONKY TONK SONGS which is so very cool being asked to come and play MY music and not a bunch of cover tunes. Last year I toured Australia and this year France, not too damn bad for an ex Tim McGraw/Alan Jackson/Ty England/Opryland USA steel guitar player turned hard core honky tonk singer staying true to his roots. My friend from Nashville Buddy Huff works the road with me and will be pickin on his mighty fine Emmons D-10 LeGrand SKH. For those of you that don't know Buddy, he is a fine player and working his ass off to cop all those Mike Johnson licks off my 2008 self penned CD "Alcohol Of Fame". Looking forward to meeting any steel players from Europe while we're there. WC Edgar

That wouldn't be Steve Butler that used to live in Amory Mississippi would it? If so, he played guitar for me on some shows we did in Canada about 1993.

Without a doubt one of the kindest folks I've ever known in my life. He's a monster Tele Player too and I had him on guitar and my buddy Jay Andrews on Steel from Paychecks band. Infact, after that Jay was Paychecks Bandleader. Tell Steve I said hey and if he ever needs a road job (if he ever leaves Pepsi or Coke or whoever he works for) I'll hire him in a minute!

WC, what can I say pal you have made it to the big times and I'm so proud of you! I don't have to tell you how far we go back but I will say this I'll never forget the times we jammed together at Mr's Cee's with my single and at the Spoke along with several more honky tonks and then all the road trips and the milk jug. I mean what more can I add Smile You've had one heck of a journey to the top huh?

Now you're able to add

to the mix and what do ya wanna bet she follows in her Daddy's foot steps in one fashion or the other??

I'm proud to call you my friend and I wish you all the best on this big overseas journey. I pray that the Lord will bless you and keep you on this big venture!!!!

Your ol' pal

Big Bob

Thanks for the knd words Big. I hope Savannah doesn't enjoy playing with me too much. She's a 4.0 student and plays with the school orchestra as well as the Salina Youth Symphony and is planning to go to the University Of Iowa in Iowa City which is my Hometown when she finishes High School. I really miss the ROAR of your laugh when we were tippin back some Bud's at Gabes or the Spoke and hangin with Daryle Singletary and Tracy Lawrence and Cal Sharp back in the day when Country Music was real Country Music in Nashville. Thats before they sold out to the company from Europe. Now I'm endorsed by Schlitz which is the ONLY American owned major brewer left in the United States and is owned my Pabst. Just think man, if I'd have a big record this year or get discovered I'd be a 19 year overnight success. Best to you and yours, WC
