When I listen to Country Music this is what I want to hear. Nothing "old" about it. It's either good or it's not and this is GREAT!. God Bless down home folk like Miss Leslie, Dale Watson and others that do their own thing and not whats always the most popular with the corporate frat daddy radio crap crowd. WC Edgar

Hi Ricky, Dennis here in Minnesota. Got my copy today, and I knew it was a hit from the the first note to the last. Great vocals, great arrangements, and great steel playing. This IS what country music should sound like. I wish I was in Texas, and could see you guys all the time.

Keep up the good work, and tell Miss Leslie, that she is a great singer and wrote some great songs, and I will look at her web site and check out her other CDs.

I love this video. Notice what the drummer did with a good portion of her drum kit. Also, note Ricky in a tie. :o

Mine arrived yesterday, and if I ever become active playing steel again, this is certainly one of the styles of music that I absolutely MUST play. Oh to live in the great state of Texas to be able to watch all the great musicians perform there. You folks living there who take advantage of this are truly blessed. I hope all the forum members have a great 2009!!!!!

Thanks, Miss Leslie and Ricky! I've listened to your CD Between the Whiskey & the Wine several times. It's just great. You did a fantastic job putting all together. I knew there'd be great vocals and steel playing, but the rest of the ingredients were outstanding as well. I really enjoyed the bass player. He held it all together just right. THANKS, this was a home run.
