I just clicked on that link.

It DOES NOT, seem like a legit website! >:-)

From what I know...you need certain equipment, to download videos...from YouTube.

When I am on YouTube...there is NOT an option, to "Download Videos."

Can anyone...clear this up?

Thanks!

The site suggested above is one of many you will find when you google for help downloading youtubes.
This particular one looks fuzzier than others... they pay for themselves thru placing adds.

You DO NOT need any special equipment to download a youtube clip. Actually, every time you view a youtube clip, it DOES GET DOWNLOADED on your computer, somewhere in one of these temporary folders.
You CAN find these folders (every browser uses it's own) and thus the file, which will show with a name which makes no sense. If you manage to find it, you can drag that particular file into a "Document" folder and rename it adding ".flv". You may google information on how and where to find that folder for each browser.

THIS IS what all these download sites actually DO. They locate the file already on your computer and store it at a more handy location, giving you the opportunity to rename it and add the .flv extension at the same time.

Then, you have 2 options:
1) To google yourself a free program to download and install which will play .flv files.
2) To google yourself a free program to download and install which will convert .flv files into .mpeg, .wmv or .mov files which will in turn be playable with you media player.

If you get error messages or youtubes suddenly don't load and play right anymore, you may want to clear your browser's cache. To do that, you will want to open your browser and look for "options" (typically under "tools" on most browsers now), then go to "security" or "privacy" and see if you find an option to "clear personal data". Usually this will open an option window, where you can select WHAT type of date you want to clear... in this case, only "cache".
Once executed, close all your browser's windows and open it again and try if the problem is solved.

I'm downloading/saving YouTube videos using Real Player version 11.0.5 that I downloaded for free from Real Player. Works fine. It even displays an icon above a video you view so you can click and save it.
