What are the correct pot types (linear vs audio taper) and values for my Fender lap steel? I stupidly replaced the originals years ago and discarded them. The current components are not doing the job. I purchased an older AB tone pot from a forumite a while back but when I finally got around to installing it the diameter was too great for the cavity. I know there are a number of vendors of vintage components and I willing to spend the money for the correct items.

250k audio pots for both the tone and volume and a .05 cap.

I like the pots put out under the "All Parts" Label. Bought them at Guitar Center.

250 for the volume, but the tone should be 1 meg.
