Web Site Update
I've redone my Steel Guitar Madness site (again). For you geeks, this is cool because I finally figured out how to do it with CSS instead of tables. Feel free to bitch and laugh at my code if you notice any browser anomalies.

Howdy Cal, I nearly stepped on Tommy..
I'd been on your new site, and had a reply saying I'll be first to give ya the bad news.. And did a whoops! After seeing Tommy had beat me to it.
Kidding about the bad news though. Your new Site looks and runs great. Real nice job, with things layed out nice and easy to navigate. Us old dudes need all the ease we can get! Well, you know all about that part anyway..
PS: Next time you talk to Lynn O, ask him if he remembers the ride back from Atlantic City. He was so young back then he possibly forgets. Maybe not though.
He pulled his steel out of the bus, brought it into the motel room around 3 AM, and I was afraid to play it, knowing he had a show to do, I was afraid I might somehow mess it up, and wouldn't play a lick on it.
That oughta jog his memory bank.
Thanks,
Don

Thanks, Tommy. That article ran in the Nashville Banner years ago and Randy Mason told me his Mom cut it out and put it on the refrigerator.
Don, I'll talk to Lynn. I had the same experience with him in Houston back in the 70's. He toted his steel up to the hotel room after the gig w/ET at Dancetown and we jammed the rest of the night.

Cal, That would have been a twin story, because I'm certain, Lynn would have still been awake and willing to keep on picking!
PS: My eyes are a little sore from reading the interviews, and each of your articles. Enjoyable reading, with lots of laughs along the way.
I covered your entire site. Excellent quality pics, checked your links and didn't have any problems. Wife says your music still sounds great. I told her she shouldn't be giving you a big head!
Thanks Cal, keep the good times rolling.
