E9th Chord Chart & Tip Sheet

Post by Patricia Warnock »

Update: 25 March 2015 - now available online at www.cryinsteel.com

Update: 29 May 2012 - Since I originally posted my E9th Chord Chart and Tip Sheet I have received over 55,000 hits and individually emailed the chart to hundreds of new friends. I am eternally grateful for the blessing this has brought to my life and overwhelmed by the encouragement and support I have received from my forum friends. I sincerely enjoy hearing from each and every one of you and will personally email it as long as it is requested. Many of you may have found my chart online on my consulting website. As of the end of April 2012 that website is no longer active as I've taken a new direction in my career. However, I hope to have a new website up shortly where you can find this chart and maybe some other material as well. For now -- if you would like the chart files please send me a private message with your email address and I'll be happy to send it to you. Take care! - Patricia

Original Posting: As a beginner, I have found it difficult to find a single source with an abundance of information about chords, keys etc for the pedal steel. So, I have been taking notes from the info and little tips I gathered here and there and then spent some time creating a Chord Chart with Pedal/Lever Combos & Tip Sheet - as a wall poster that I can put up next to my guitar. It also works OK as an 11X17 worksheet but any smaller and you can't really read it. Obviously with unlimited combinations available on the steel this chart doesn't show them all but it does have a lot of information all in one place. Anyway, I am happy to share the poster size and 11X17 worksheet size with anyone who thinks they may find it useful. Just send me your email address and I'll pass it along. Your local print shop should be able to print you the full size poster or tabloid worksheet relatively fast and cheap from the pdf file.I know most home printers won't have the capacity. But it also works well as a reference you can pull up on your computer screen. You can get an idea of what it looks like from the picture below.

As Bobby has recently recommended, please PM your email address or email me from the forum link (if you PM please type out your email address - it doesn't show automatically). Posting your email openly on the forum can give access to spammers. I am happy to receive any and all of your requests!

Patricia. That looks like a real handy chart! It would be nice to know where the cords are instead of hunting till you find It! I'd like a copy from you and thank you . Bob email address deleted by moderator
