On startup, An error that runtime has suggested shutting down in an unusual way.
c\programfiles\bigfix.exe. Is it safe to use an online cleaner, ex. Regcure to correct the problem. I am running spybot but this occured prior to using the program. I have high speed but startup is at a snail's pace. Thanks

Johnny, is your computer an eMachines or Gateway brand?

You should go into Add/Remove programs and see if Bigfix is listed and if so maybe just remove it.

Otherwise go to this page:
http://help.bigfix.com/general/bfproblem.shtml

There is a link to a program there that will remove BigFix.

BigFix, from the description at bigfix.com, seems like an OK thing to have. Seems like eMachines and Gateway puts it on there as a form of customer support. But if it's not working correctly to begin with then you might want to uninstall it and then optionally reinstall it.
