When and where is the Oregon jam? My brother lives in Grants Pass and enjoys steel music very much.

No one I know of. Lonesone Road HAD one of the better "old time" players, Ronny Starr/Hugely on steel and tele, but there was a change.

Melody Guy was there last year, and now has Pete Burak working with her, I understand but she's not there this year.

I played there last year with Monty Moss, but I'll be doing a street dance in Hermiston with them on the 2nd.

Enjoy. It's a fun gig. Maybe Liz Gregory will have her racing pigs or diving mules there.

For Eric West
Hermiston is only about 4 hours from me. When are you playing there, ie time etc. Only one gig? Would like to hear some great steel work.
Thanks, Roy
[This message was edited by Roy McKinney on 29 July 2003 at 05:22 AM.]

Guess I thought you meant "local players".

I'm sure there will be some good bands there.

The Hermiston gig is kind of a street dance type thing for "Hermiston Days". Pays good and it's just a one day shot.

I'll get the particulars here tomorrow night. Really bushed right now.

Chris thats great,
you guys are basically the only band appearing that I have any interest in hearing, other than for comedy's sake. Image

Roy. It's the "Hermiston Boot Scoot" at the Community Ctr in Hermiston. I think I'll have a couple tickets, and/or can arrange something.

It's a 9:00pm Start on Saturday. I was think "Idanah" instead of Imnaha. Hell I might just bring my bank card and move up there after the gig....
