Good Stuff

Post by David Fields »

I purchased the DVD focusing on the A & B pedals that has the cajun licks. What I liked about it is that with me being new to pedal steel....well nothing was over my head. He taught about basic chord structure that I really needed. I learned some great licks from this DVD. You see exactly what he does and plus he explains where he playing on the steel. Since it is a DVD you can rewind fast and easy.
For the price, it is the best.
Thanks Terry for a great product.
Now that I have some time I am going to go ahead and purchase the other that focuses on th E lever.
Will be sending you a check this week Terry.

These are neat videos and priced right!!!

Terry takes his time & explains stuff very well...these are certainly great for beginners.

The best thing is, Terry gets you playing a song in no time. You actually get to utilize what you've learned & see how it all fits together.

Thanks for the comments guys! I try to teach it where anyone can learn to play steel guitar.

I think there are a few great steel instructional courses out there but most are over begginers heads. As a veteran school teacher, I take pride when my students learn something. I can't stand it when they don't learn, so I really try hard to explain the steel where anyone can learn from my DVD instructions. Also, I think my instructional DVDs are priced so that anyone can afford them.

This summer I am already working on two new DVD instructional courses these are for the E9th using the F knee lever and another for Gospel E9th. If time permits I will try to do a C6th DVD on Gospel as well.

To order my instructional materials by ordering from me at:

Terry Wood
312 North Walnut Street
Marshfield, MO 65706

THese DVDs sell for $15 plus $3 postage to mail them to you inside USA.

Any questions call me at: 417-468-2102

THanks and May GOD bless!

Hello Terry,

Is there any chance that you could send your CD's to me in England?

I have a Fender Sho-Bud with a great sound but a rather slow learning student plucking the strings.

I live in Hampshire in the South of England. I should like to avail myself of your instruction if that is possible. Please give me a quote on the postage.
The more teaching material there is out there the better. I helps to keep this wonderful instrument alive.

Hello Terry,

Sorry for the delay, I have been tied up in local coucil work and I will have to travel out of town to obtain a "Banker's Order"
I normally use "PayPal for my internet transactions. :)
I do realise that this system might place charges on you.
Might I suggest that you add those charges to my invoice and then I would be willing to pay for the lot.
Regards
Eric

People call me from time to time and ask which of my steel guitar DVD instructions are best for the beginner. I recommend you order my first two Nashville E9th DVD instructional courses.

These are:

1) Nashville E9th using the A and B pedals
includes songs, intros, endings, licks, fills, etc.

2) Nashville E9th using the A and B plus the E knee pedal. includes songs, intros, licks, endings, fills, etc.

Both these DVD courses at 1 hour long. You learn enough stuff on them to keep you busy for a few months.

Total cost for the DVDs are only $18 each. Buying both for only $36 total and that will get them shipped to you in the USA for that price.

Again, I recommend these for the beginner and intermediate players.

Any questions you may call me evenings at my home number: 417-468-2102.

GOD bless and Merry CHRIST-mas!

My Nashville E9th Part I shows basics and goes through intermediate for using the A and B pedals.

Part II is Nashville E9th is a continuation of first DVD and it shows how to use the E knee pedal with A and B floor pedals.

Everything is explained and taught step by step so the student can learn to play the basics on pedal steel guitar

These two DVDs sell for only $36 for both DVDs and that pays the postage inside the USA.
