I ran into this clip once before about a year ago. Wayne plays a beautiful solo on this. Let's Watch It Again!

:D :whoa:

I never tire of listening to this fabulous singer. To me, she is tops in the Female category of artists in Nashville. Any country song she does is # one, in my book. And Wayne Dahl certainly does a fantastic job on the number.. Bernie  :whoa: :)

I have never heard a version of this song with steel on it before now, maybe cos it don't really need it BUT Wayne dahl played with supreme taste on this version, my thought was that he complimented the whole thing beautifully.

No better player!

Wayne is like a second son to me! Whenever he is back here in Minnesota, he stops by with his wife, Robin, While the gals are upstairs yackin we set up & play a few things, He was here a few months ago & brought his new Zum over & there's no better player anywhere! & I mean on both necks! There are more current top players in Nashville from Minnesota than anywhere else! I could furnish a laundry list, but you know who they are! au

Paul Franklin did this note for note solo on a TV show of Martina McBride. Did Paul do this first or did Wayne? Any body know?

Really?

Regardless, it shows that over the years there are occasional gems on the CMA Awards shows.
