I just got home from the Hospital this afternoon.I went in Monday afternoon about 6:00 and was operated on to have my Apendix out as they were ready to Bust.I'm doing fine but sour you will have to put up with me for a long time I guess. Ha.I guess I will be practicing a lot on the steel as I can't do anything for a few weeks. With the steel i will be able to play it as it is the right side and that is the Volume pedal so I hope it works.

Sam glad to know you are on the road to recovery. Take it easy for a while and don't over do it. I'll expect to hear some more Hot Licks, since you will have time to practice now.

Sam, our good friend Eddie Trent is in Holston Valley Hospital, scheduled for Heart By-pass surgeory Thursday morning. He told me yesterday that they will do 5 By-Passes on him. His Doctors expect him to do good since he didn't have a heart attack.
I'll be sitting in for him at Peggy's on Friday and Saturday night until he recovers.

Sam,
Sorry to hear yhat you had to go through that..and glad that everything came out allright. I enjoyed our visit..right after you got here in Tennessee. But you didn't need surgery as a welcome present...and I hope Eddie gets through everything OK. See yo soon..and I may be starting with a local group!

Sam, Hope your healing well. That is a tuff operation, so I've heard. At least you will get to spend more time on Steel. Take care Sam.
