Being a some what newby at the steel. Its important to hear from other Steelers on how a person is doing.
I don't want glory, I want to know what I'm doing wrong and doing right. Thats how to progress.

Bill : I love it; What kind of guitar are you using? I gather it to be some type of non-pedal [ possibly a resonator ] Anyway , you are doing an excellent job on the number. Such a nice clean sound, Bill..Bernie :whoa: :D

Thanks Bernie, I'm using a Tele with a B-bender and a Derby steel, running through a Vox Tone Lab into a Yamaha mixer, into the recorder. I should have took more time on it, the steel sounds a little out of tune in a couple places. It was fun to do and I plan on doing some more.

Bill,

What a nice & clean performance of a country classic. There's some great guitar pickin' on there. I also can't get over your tone on this track...that Derby sounds like a million bucks!!!

I missed you at Baxter Springs as well...Ray and his folks put on a great show!!!
