This is “not” note for note, bit a very tasteful and smooth intro.

This Intro was requested by Bob Guichard, a new forum friend, after seeing the Classic Emmons Break. Thanks Bob. DS

Thanks loads for this and the break Dick, great stuff. I really like Jeannie's voice too.

When the intro is at the 5th fret, squeezing the A pedal, in the / Quick \ bit - I can hear the 10th string going up and down too. What do you reckon? I know you weren't doing it note for note but thought i'd ask in case I'm imagining it, I'm still pretty new.

Thanks again.

Robbie,
Your probably right on the money. I hope the disclaimer covers that, I ripped it pretty quick. I'll have another listen and revise if necessary. Tabbing the great steelers past and present is a real challenge. I'm playing with Lloyds Farewell Party now. One word, Mind Boggling. Or was that two? It's the pits being past my prime. Glad your getting some use of them and thanks for reading my posts. DS

DIFFERENT KIND OF FLOWER & MR RECORD MAN

Post by steve takacs »

OK Mr. Sexton.....after that intro, the solo to this tune awaits exploration. It sounds similar to the intro on "A Different Kind of Flower", a great intro by Buddy. Wonder how man times that has been said? Mr. Record man seems to add the first string too. steve t
