fender trapezoid pickups

Post by joe b. wheeler »

members,
i have two original 1953 fender trapezoid pickups for sale at 250.00 each...there has been a lot of interest, but folks think 250 is high, here's my thinking:
these are orig coils with 11k. ohms on each [i tested them on a coodercaster and they are hot!], no collapsed bobbins [see lollar's website], no rusted or pitted nickel plate...if you add up all the costs to rewind, re-plate or rebuild bobbins, these are a bargain...
[i know that routine, just went through it with my supro/oahu pickup]...let me know, joe
p. s. also have one 8 string tuner pan [one solder joint cracked], and 2 fingerboards

Hi JOe, what is a fingerboard? are they fretboards? If so for what guitars would they be appropriate for? I may need a couple fretboards for a fender 1000. Thanks.

I am interested in the tuner pan. What condition is the chrome? Could you email a pic? Or give more detail.
