Thanks John!
Mike, I trust your judgement in these matters - so . .
here's an MP3 of the rough studio mix.
You can hear all the instruments a lot more clearly.
I'LL SAIL MY SHIP ALONE - mp3
Thank you Rocky!
Hi Tom, yep she's a sweetheart . .
Mr Boards, thanks for the encouragement!
Check out the MP3 and let me know what you think of the mix - I've listened to this song about 200 times now . .

Larry, sorry to hear you're having a problem with YouTube.
I hope you get it figured out, maybe if you contact them they could help you.
I had some problems a while back and they responded pretty quickly.
Are you able to listen to MP3s?

Thanks G-man!
I will. I seem to be on a roll these daze . .
John, my tunings have evolved over the years.
I currently have
E7 on the back neck h2l - E B G# E D B G# E
A13 on the middle neck - E C# A F# E C# A G
and E13 on the front neck - G# E C# B G# E D B
E7 has the root on top, A13 has the 5th on top and E13 has the 3rd on top.
Each tuning has a different register and different chord voicings.
I don't have any set criteria for when to change necks, just whatever works. In this song I used the A13 tuning for the verses, except when I used the E7 tuning in the 2nd verse - and I used the E13 for the choruses.
The A13 is just A6 with the bottom F# raised to G.
The E13 is E6 with the bottom C# raised to D.
I like having that 7th on the bottom . .
